Alain Fichot: Flat Square Crystalline Vase

Born in 1952 and living and working in France, Alain Fichot has been a potter for some 35 years, having previously studied sciences. Initially he produced woodfired stoneware, which was fashionable in the 1970s. Later he switched to porcelain and crystal glazes and for the last ten years he has dedicated his practice to this most challenging of glazes.
