'Weeping Vessel'

Marble resin, mounted on on a granite slab.

This sculpture is an early work which forms part of the 'Vessel Series' which includes 'Pouring Vessel' and 'Deep Waters'. These symbolic statements reflect the meditation on human loss, combining the container vessel imagery of ancient times with the idea of the grieving mother.
