An exhibition of Tribal artefacts, from African masks and sculptures to unusual objets d'art.
Also included in the auction are some contemporary pieces by regular gallery artists - which sit very happily amongst the tribal art.
30% of the gross proceeds of the auction and all profits from the catalogue will be donated to The Waterberg Welfare Society, South Africa (see below)

Warranty & Guidance
The auction will be conducted via sealed bids, with the highest bidders notified during the week commencing 13th March.
As with most ethnographic art, all works are unique and unsigned. Some may have slight damage or imperfections, commensurate with age and use. Approximate age is given according to either provenance, previous auction records or research.
Additional images may be provided on request. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect lots carefully and to assure themselves on any points of condition or concern prior to bidding.
All items are privately owned by Debra Blik, acquired from collectors and specialist tribal art dealers across the globe for the purpose of this auction.
Bidding & Paying
Each work carries a guide price. You may bid above or below this figure. Please avoid identical bids which may be easily replicated. For example, instead of bidding £100, you might bid £101.98. Minimum reserves apply.

NOTE: All accounts must be settled by 20th March. Failure to do so may result in items passing to the next highest bidder. For this exhibition only, payments by credit card will incur a 3% surcharge.

Waterberg Welfare Society
The Waterberg Welfare Society is a charitable organisation based in Limpopo Province, South Africa. It exists to help improve the health and lives of the local community, in particular vulnerable sick and orphaned children whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS and related life-threatening diseases.
The Society runs a number of key programmes:
The Treatment and Care of HIV/AIDS - Including Hospice and day respite as well as vital home-based care.
Education and Awareness - Including an outreach programme, counselling and guidance.
Skills Development & Empowerment - Including youth programmes and daily pre-schooling for the youngest children in the community enabling them to play and learn in a safe environment.
An important new Empowerment Centre was built in 2015 on land owned by the WWS to provide the basic infrastructure for a small number of local micro-businesses or start-ups. Crucially, this will enable the WWS to earn revenue from leasing the infrastructure, allowing it to help more people in more ways and to become self-sufficient.
WWS is an organisation which is run for the community by the community. It provides a loving and supportive family environment for those who need it most - the marginalised, under-privileged and vulnerable - helping to give them back hope and opportunity. NPO Reg No. 019 865
